Overview

Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant, nestled on Dreamworld Parkway in Coomera, QLD, stands out as a welcoming family dining destination within the bustling theme park. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant immerses guests in a warm, jungle-inspired atmosphere, complete with animatronic animals and nostalgic Rivertown memorabilia that perfectly complement the vintage timber booths and swing-era décor. This thoughtful setting creates a unique dining experience that appeals to visitors of all ages seeking a relaxing break amid the park’s excitement.

The menu offers a variety of approachable yet elevated dishes that satisfy diverse appetites, making it an ideal spot for families and groups. The Tropical Prawn Salad deserves special mention; it strikes a balance between fresh, vibrant flavors and generous portions, standing out as a refreshing main dish amid other classic options like pizzas, burgers, and kid-friendly fare such as chicken nuggets. The culinary team clearly understands the importance of quality and accessibility, offering meals that feel like a step above typical theme park fast food without compromising on convenience or taste.

Ordering is streamlined with a QR code system, allowing guests to browse photos of the dishes before selecting. While the system enhances ease for visually oriented diners and speeds up service, peak times can still see lines at the counter, reflecting the restaurant’s popularity during busy periods like school holidays. The beverage selection complements the meal offerings well, featuring a curated list of Australian and New Zealand wines, including Sauvignon Blancs and sparkling options, as well as quality coffee and hot chocolate. This range caters to adults looking to unwind and pairs nicely with the restaurant’s laid-back yet polished vibe.

Jane’s Rivertown Restaurant clearly targets families and theme park visitors seeking more than just a quick bite. It delivers a satisfying culinary experience combined with an engaging, thematic space that invites guests to linger and enjoy the moment. Attention to dietary needs and consistent positive feedback on service and ambiance reaffirm its role as a dependable dining choice within Dreamworld. The jungle atmosphere, warm lighting and friendly staff members create a fantastic first impression upon entering the restaurant. Food is easy to order via the bar or at your table using a QR code. We like that there are photos of the meals through the code for people who are more visually oriented. The wait for your order isn’t very long and prices are similar to what you would expect at family restaurants (plus you’re at a theme park!). Taking in the animatronic animals and Dreamworld memorabilia including pictures whilst you wait is a fun touch. Dietary requirements and preferences are kindly catered to, you only have to ask at the counter. The food is tasty and satisfying certainly a quality upgrade to just having fast food options.

Step inside and you get vintage timber booths, warm lighting, and swing‑era décor that fits Rivertown perfectly. We tried the pizza and burgers—both arrived hot, tasted fresh, and hit the spot. The staff were genuinely nice, checking in just enough without hovering. Washrooms were spotless and even smelled pleasant—always a win in a busy park. Simple, tasty food, friendly service, and a charming atmosphere make Jane’s an easy pick for a meal break.

AMAZING !!! We have been waiting a long time for this restaurant to reopen and it was better than before. Our trip to dreamworld this NSW school holidays had to include a visit to this new restaurant. We think the park is always good but really missed not having a sit down restaurant. This is perfect. The management are doing a fantastic job as they have an incredible chef, a menu to suit anyone's appetite and staff who greet you with a smile and are attentive and most importantly friendly and helpful. So we are here twice. Highly recommend.

Second time dining here. Items are tasty, average sized portions and reasonably priced considering it's a theme park! QR code worked for food on our first visit but only was working for drinks on the second visit. Lining up to order at the counter took a good 15 minutes as there is only one register BUT it was lunch time rush in the school holidays and the food came out super quickly after ordering. The animatronics and themed decorations are really good, kids loved it. Everyone was super helpful and cheerful, drew was an extra awesome host! Chicken nuggets are 10/10 haha.

We were excited to visit after seeing the reviews and it was a great, interesting environment. The animatronic animals were a huge draw card. The menu had a big selection and good quantity of food for the money.

Very big, spacious and comfortable restaurant with friendly staff. Pizzas tasted great, were fairly priced, and portions were very generous. A very pleasant place and highly recommended for lunch when you come to dreamworld.

Great way to get away from the excitement and noise of the park, into an air-conditioned activity. The restaurant is well themed and has an amazing atmosphere. Food is typically pub style with the focus of getting the food out quickly so you can get back in the park. Quality suffers for the speed. And I am sure many park goers appreciate not having to spend a long time waiting for food. I recommend the experience. And if you're finding the park a little too much then this is a great place to get yourself together. We loved the garlic bread, especially with added cheese.
